Walla Walla Regional Airport , which is situated in 310 A Stair st.Walla Walla, WA 99362, USA, is an airport providing services and facilities to the public. During World War II, it was used as Walla Walla Army Air Base of the U.S. Army Air Corps. However, the power of maintenance came back to the Walla Walla city on 1st December in the year of 1947. However, in the year of 1989, the control and ownership of this particular airport was seized by the "Port of Walla Walla" from the county of Walla Walla.
Walla Walla Regional Airport ,which occupies 2,319 acres of land ,possesses three runways. Airlines of this airport include Alaska airlines and Horizon Air. Walla Walla Regional Airport is proud to offer Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) facility. Three people namely Ken Clayton, Mike Graves and Brent Partlow are there to manage the Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting (AREF) department. Prevention for crash,fire, rescue is provided by this particular department. The accomplishments of Walla Walla Regional Airport includes the development of a new airport industrial park map. For the department of maintenance,two utility pickups have also been bought.
