Olympic National Park

Olympic National Park is one of the most visited and well known parks. It is situated in Olympic Peninsula in Washington. It is one of the most visited and well known parks. Earlier it used to be one of the most popular amusement parks in the US. It came into being in the year 1938 and served as the best amusement park during that period. The Olympic National Park is divided into three regions, namely, the Pacific Coastline, Olympic Mountains and the rainforest. This national park was listed under the world heritage site in the year 1981 and hence attracted a large number of tourists from all over the world.

The Olympic Mountains is a popular attraction within the Olympic National Park. The breathtaking views of the mountain has attracted the attention of many tourists from all over the world. It is a beautiful snow covered mountain in the Olympic National Park.

The temperate rain forest is an amazing site in the Olympic National Park. The Hoh Rain Forest and the Quinault rain forest are the other rain forests that are included within the rain forests of the Olympic National Park. Today, it is a well known biological reserve where one can find a wide variety of unique species.

Various types of activities in Olympic National Park are offered, which includes hiking, backpacking, camping, rock climbing and many more. Being well known for its wilderness, the Olympic National Park offer a good number of scenic locations within the park. Among the places, the Hurricane Ridge is a popular spot, which is located along the Pacific Coast.



The Olympic National Park was founded in the year 1938 by the former American President, Franklin Roosevelt. In the year 1988, the national park was designated as a popular wilderness park. Today, it is a well known national park in Washington.
